Farm Hand
Our Ideal Candidate is:
- Interested in sustainable farming
- A self-starter and able to work on/start tasks on their own with a strong willingness to learn
- Detail oriented and able to pay attention to plant quality
- Able to perform physically demanding and repetitive task (bending, kneeling, etc.) and able to lift 40-50 lbs
- Willing to accept and implement feedback quickly
- Willing to give feedback about the ways the farm can improve
- Has reliable transportation to and from work and is on time. We'd like you to respect our work time just like we respect your non-work time
Job Responsibilities / Expectations for a Farm Crew Member:
Looking for part-time general farm labor including but not limited to harvesting, washing and packing produce, weeding, plant removal, preparing planting beds, watering, transplanting, tote/bucket washing, seeding, fertilization, pest/disease management, and farm clean-up

Hours / Schedule / Compensation:
- Up to 20 Hours per week Now - October. Must be available 3 days a week, including Tuesdays and Fridays
- Hours are between 7 AM to 2 PM based on the time of year.
- Must be able to provide references
- Must be able to pass a background check
- This position is seasonal, it ends in October
- Pay starts at $13/hourly (determined by experience)
